Well, it works like most coffee makers but what I like about this one is if I have already prepared it to brew a pot in the morning, and I get an urge for a single cup right now, I don't have to undo anything or brew a whole pot. Just move a switch and put the ingredients in the side for one cup.

Great Coffee Maker
I am replacing my older version of this coffee maker that I have had for at least 12 years. While it still worked, it wasn't tasting the best so I decided to replace it. I went with the same exact coffee maker because I loved that it didnt use KCup style baskets in the mug side so I can customize how much grounds I use. I also found this style basket easier to clean. I also really liked that it doesnt have a reservoir and you just put in the amount of water you need each time. This takes the guess work out of what size mug you have and also keeps the water from going stale sitting in the reservoir. This is a great machine that I hope will last me another long time.
