it is sturdier than the weight limit suggested. it is fast. was easy to assemble, only needed to connect the top part of the handlebar. too fast for my 7 yr old grandson. hes not very athletic either so the speed might be ok for more adventurous kids. will be installing a device that will prevent the lever that propells it from being able to be pushed all the way down...this will slow the scooter down because the further down u push the lever, the faster the scooter goes and you must hold the lever down ( with thumb) in order to give the motor power to move the scooter. i got it on sale a month before xmas so the price was great at that time.

So far so good. My husband bought this scooter for our 9-year-old daughter, and she has been enjoying it. It isn’t extremely fast, which is good, but it’s fast enough to have fun on. My 14-year-old daughter runs faster than this scooter lol. My husband assembled it easily enough. My daughter said it charges slowly.

Could be stronger for the price

We thought this as a gift for our son. It falls apart easily. Maybe my son just rides them a little aggressively, I'm not sure, kids having fun you know, but the little black gnome on the back wheel rubs down really easily when it comes in a contact with concrete or the sidewalk. My kid also jumped off to not hurt himself and the scooter feel down to the ground and broke. The throttle push button broke on the impact.
