PawHut Hamster Cage with Wheel and Water Bottle

It is a nice maze of ladders and tunnels to keep the hampster active when is locked up . But the wheel is worthless. High friction causes it to turn the bracket to cafe snd come off. It can trap the hampster. It is also such a small diameter wheel it can cause excessive back arch of a hampster per websites I read. The rest of the cage is great.

Great habitat...but beware!!! The GOOD: This habitat is great! It has everything you need built right into it and has tons of room for your hamster to run around in and looks great!!! Assembly was very easy as well!!! The BAD: The only bad thing is totally dependant upon the size of your hamster. If you have a dwarf hamster that is on the smaller size of dwarfs, it can fit between the bars. My daughter picked out a dwarf hamster that was smaller and skinnier than all of the other ones at the pet store and in the middle of the night, it squeezed through the bars to get out. Unfortunately for poor snowball...we also have a cat! So when me and my wife woke up in the morning...we found him headless on the kitchen floor by her accidentally stepping on his headless body. Was like when you step on a ketchup packet. Luckily my daughter was still sleeping from being up late playing with him and it gave me time to race around to every pet store around until I finally found one that was a close enough match...but was also fat enough that he shouldn't be able to fit through the bars. Was a very traumatic experience for the wife and would have been absolutely terrible for my little girl if should have found out. This is in no way the manufacturer or the cages fault as the hamster was really just abnormally small...even for a dwarf.
