Lovely yarn and so soft. The color gradients are subtle from one color to the next. That is achieved by one strand of the previous color blended with the 2nd color, then 2 strands together to create a solid, eventually removing one strand and adding one strand of a new color. There are long lengths of each change. I started the neckline of my op down sweater in navy blue, which blended to navy and red. The next color change will be navy and gray... and so on through 5? color changes. I think the label photo is fairly accurate. My photos are a bit lighter and brighter than the actual yarn.

This yarn is very hearty, it's thick and soft but holds shape very well. I am using this yarn for a waffle stitch crocheted blanket and it is really showing off the waffle shape. The finished blanket will be heavy due to the thickness of this yarn which I am happy about.

I use this yarn to make hats for kids with cancer. The hats make up quickly and are cute and warm. I order about a dozen balls a week. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the thickness of the yarn is not consistent from ball to ball. The price is cheaper when I order site to store rather than buying off the shelf, and order by the bundle. The price is very reasonable
