The color isnt ivory, more dark beige or tan (which works perfectly for me but if you want a light color, this isn't really it). It calmed rolled up tightly in a tub, which understand is necessary but it hasnt flattened out yet and Ive tripped twice. Hopefully, it will lay flat soon! It is SO pretty and it fits me kitchen perfectly! Im really glad I bought it, and my animals have taken a liking to it too.
