Drive functions perfectly

This drive was being installed in an older PC... at first it didn't see the drive then I noticed the documentation mentioned that on older systems you might have to lock the transfer speed to its lowest speed by using the supplied jumper... once I made the jumper connection the system saw the drive and the install proceeded smoothly.

Great Drive easy install

What can I say, it was an easy install for me, but I have built several pc's and installed many hard drives. I used the software from Seagate, to clone the drive, instructions are printed on the drive. Works great.

Excellent product

I bought this Seagate drive on 4/23/08. I installed it next day. I was concerned that I would have to reinstall Windows XP and all the other programs. To my delight the drive came with software already installed which gave me the choice, among others, to clone the old drive to the new one. THis I did, it took about half an hour and I had the computer up and running. It has been doing well since. I am very pleased with thiis drive and the ease with which got installed. I would recommand this drive to anybody. I love it!
