    Color different in person

    This is a beautiful rug, a great bargain for a stylish 100% wool rug at this price. But from the photo on the website I got the impression that the color was solid ivory. I have other Safavieh ivory rugs (shags), and this one is not the same color as my others. See photo for a comparison. The color of this rug is more what I would call "natural," or "cream," or even slightly "oatmeal." It definitely has a heathered quality, with little flecks of grey in it. See the other photo. But it still works with my decor so I'm keeping it. As other reviewers said, it REALLY sheds. If you kneel down on it, when you stand up your knees will be covered with fuzz. I have been vacuuming it daily, and I really hope the shedding will lessen over time as the manufacturer promises!
