Great price, good lil scooter

Very easy assembly. I didn't see it in the manual, but fyi you first have to propel the scooter by foot and then motor will start. You get exactly what the box says you get. At time of purchase, scooter was on sale, so a great addition for my son's birthday. Don't forget a helmet!

"I'm loving my electric scooter from Walmart! 🚀 Got it for a steal and it's been a game-changer for short commutes. The battery life is great, and it's super easy to fold up and take with me. The build quality is solid too - definitely worth the money. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and practical ride! 😄"

Decent scooter if your expectations are realistic

If your commute is about 2-3 miles, and you can recharge it at work, this will get you there. Will it be fast? No. Will you feel every bump in the road? Yes. But will it be faster than walking and cheaper than a couple weeks of Ubers? Yes and yes. I am a 200-pound man, and while it does struggle a bit up hills, I get about 4.5-5 miles out of a full charge and it will reach its top speed on level ground. That's honestly more than I expected, I can't really complain. If you do decide on this scooter, let me give you a bit of advice: be prepared to spend a weekend repeatedly charging and riding around until it dies. Do not expect to rely on it first thing. Your first charge out of the box will give you comically pathetic range, and you might find yourself hovering over the "start return" button, wishing you listened to the sea of other reviews complaining about exactly this; but keep in mind that the thing's not only new, but it sat in a warehouse (and possibly a wallyworld stockroom) for who knows how long before you bought it. The battery needs cycled a few times before you can expect more than a trip to the corner store out of it. Gotrax should *probably* consider telling people this so they don't turn 360 degrees and ask for a refund.
