We had one that lasted for many years and was used multiple times a day. It finally died. I searched all over to find the same one and lucked out Walmart still sold it. Carafe holds heat well, coffee stays warm for hours. Easy to use and program. Handy water side fill that comes out . This coffee machine is well made and holds up to years of daily use. The replacement water filters are available on both Walmart and Amazon. They are affordable. It makes a perfect pot of coffee every time.

I had my previous one for twelve years, and though it still worked, the interior of the carafe had gotten build up of burnt coffee or something after all those years, so I decided to order a fresh new coffee maker. I love that it has a cleaning feature that alarms you after 100 cycles. Best coffee pot ever!

The Third Time is Still a Charm

This is my third Mr. Coffee like this. The last one died after about 10 years of daily use. They have improved the leaky pot and the control panel. I didn't clean it with vinegar when the reminder went off as often as I should have. The design doesn't need to change, it is excellent. The ease of use without reading the manual is obvious. I will say do not put any coffee maker under a wood cabinet, the steam will warp the door if it's too close. It's nice to have hot coffee without heating a glass pot forever.
