I did price comparison before ordering the Black and Decker 12-cup coffee maker with vacuum sealed carafe. The carafe I ordered previously from Walmart was difficult to align the cap with the pouring spout. Needless to say the coffee poured out from the side. My request for a return/refund from Walmart was confirmed. The Black and Decker coffee maker is exactly what I wanted without having to order a separate carafe. I've only used it once because the carafe kept my first pot of coffee warm overnight. I warmed my morning cup for a few seconds in the microwave. The coffee tasted as fresh as day one. In essence, I got a two for one great deal.

I love this coffee pot. My husband and I get up at different times the coffee stays hot. I set it the night before , it comes on and is made before I even wake up. I have enjoyed it. I know there are more expensive machines out there, but this one works perfectly and it's a good price.

Works very well. Holds the temp for 2 hours before fading. Easy to clean. Has a preset in order to autobrew tomorrow. You can select a stronger brewing. - clock/timer display is unlit and really hard to read. tiny tiny "pm" in upper right corner. I wish it held the temp longer.
