PlayStation 5 Slim Console + PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller Midnight Black

I've only had my new PS5 for less than a week, but so far- so good. For being the 'SLIM' model It's much bigger and bulkier than I expected, and because these things need LOTS of ventilation, I had to do some rearranging of things to find a place for it near the tv. As for overall quality, the construction is pretty solid, it's quick to load, quiet, and the graphics are excellent (even on an older TV), and because it is backward-compatible, it will play most PS4 games as well, so you can keep all your old games! It does NOT play PS3 games, though. The ps5 also plays movies (dvds), and is easy to set up and start playing. I have yet to explore all the features, but it it seems pretty easy to navigate through it's home page, and even comes with a preinstalled game to get you started. I also like that it is fully customizable, so I can change out side panels, customize controllers, etc. Although... Its probably a good idea to do a little homework on it before hand to familiarize yourself on its quirks, like over heating issues and maintenance (dusting). And you WILL have to create a PSN (playstation network) acct to use it, but setting up an acct is easy and free (unless you get the PS subscription at a cost). But once you're familiar with its functions, it pretty simple to use. Over all, Im very happy with it right now, and am tempted to get a newer/better TV to fully enjoy its graphics. AND, there are several great new games coming out in 2026, so Im excited about those! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! *Note: They're pretty pricey, so wait till it goes on sale (I bought mine on Black Friday), and only buy from a reputable dealer.
