It kind of looks like furniture and fits in with decor nicely. I like the fact that there is no assembly required. If needed, I definitely would buy again. I bought the taller height to keep cats out of my living room, however, I have one little rascal that scales over it. The sections are hinged and makes for easy entry into a room and folds for storage.
