I bought this gate to petition off an area of my kitchen to keep my dogs from eating the cats' food and so far it's worked well. It's portable and wider than a standard gate allowing me to use it across larger walkways if I want to block off other areas of the house, and it's stable enough that my dogs have not knocked it over. I am very pleased with this gate.
