It has a drain pump and an extra long drain hose that can be drained in the bathtub. You can fill it with water with I a hand held shower, it runs for 15 minutes in the wash tub then stops completely til come back to it,b then you turn the knob to drain the water. Put the drained flying the spin dry election and drys to just damp in 5 minutes. Then you hang them on a drying rack. With fan blowing on them they will be dry in 2 to 3 hours. The best part no more going a dirty Laundromat and exposing yourself to someone else germs, and no quarters to go to the bank for. This is a fantastic machine and I love it very much!
