Gone are the days of Tupperware, I mean who can afford them today, if you can find them. Rubbermaid makes reliable products that you can afford. These containers are no exception. I appreciate the price, the new sizes that they offer and ease of going from frig to microwave. I recently replaced all my old plastic containers and purchased almost the whole set of Rubbermaid, red top containers, at Walmart.

These are nice and big. I need these for my left over soups and other large quantity meals I make like Rice. They keep food fresh in the fridge and they're strong and sturdy. They're not flimsy. They last a long time. They look good in the fridge They're easy to clean.

I didn't quite read the description when I was ordering these and they came in a lot larger size than I expected, but that was perfect for storing leftover soup that I had made in a giant 5 quart pot the seals very well and it didn't spill even when slashed around in the car as I was taking it to my sons house.
