quality, durable and performs well.

comparatively to glass/"pyrex" I wanted a french press that wouldn't break every a few months whrn empting the grounds. so far so good after 6 months. it excels at coldbrew and makes great hot coffee, both with minimal grounds or sludge. the press utalizes a stout microsreen that has a silicone? squeegee on the outter rim.

Purchased this after breaking two glass presses in one year. This is definitely worth it. The coffee stays hot, the filter works well, and it's not going to shatter on the floor or in the sink, or anywhere! I find the design less than compelling but otherwise it's exactly what I wanted.
