Stainless shell French press

Highly recommended, does not require much force to push the plunger and material of construction is definitively the best quality available. Easy to clean, the plunger can be disassembled to allow for the individual components to be properly cleaned. I hope it last us decades 🤭.

Omg, let me tell y'all...

I am loving this French press. It's easy to use, very straight forward %26 able to use w any coffee grounds. I love it %26 the color looks cute on my counter! It holds 26oz %26 makes 2 cups of coffee. My 1st press made two 20oz cups of coffee. Which I don't understand bc they look like they're the same size. This one has triple filtering which my last one didn't.😜 This one is also a plus bc it is stainless steel which stays warm longer %26 won't break. Anyway a good purchase for $20.

New to French Presses, Pretty Happy w/ this one!

Been actively trying to get away from heat/heated beverages, food, and water being in contact with plastics. This includes avoiding most traditional coffee makers and k-cup machines (plastic reservoirs, etc). Also, to achieve a better cup of coffee. This french press pitcher looked to be on the money to try on for size. Never used one before. Got the black color. Just me drinking coffee so this FP is the perfect size for one person to have two decent coffee mugs worth in the AM or fill a tall insulated travel mug in one shot. I had to get the coffee portions right (as I tend to always overdo it) and 2 slightly rounded coffee spoon scoops has been the most ideal for me. Obviously, everyone has different requirements on that count. My process is to get hot water out of the tap (mine usually hits a pretty hot ~135°F) and into the pitcher. I put the plunger top back on for some preheating/extra heat containment and then get my kettle going with the stainless steel insides. That takes about 3-4 minutes to get my filtered water to temp. I dump the FP water out, get my grounds kettle water in, and stir it all with a long SS spoon. Put the top back on with the plunger up, wait appx. 3 minutes, plunge slowly, then give things a couple minutes for any possible stray grounds to settle at the bottom, and proceed to pour prep to my taste. If I am using an insulated or ceramic to-go tall mug, I do the preheat the insides thing with hot H2O as well. If you're psychotic about stray grounds, you can always pour it thru an unbleached paper filter a/or tight mesh SS food strainer, pyramid metal filter, or cheese cloth setup of some kind to catch them while the coffee stream goes into your cup. The whole process is a little involved to avoid the plastics scenario and you need to be less lazy than me for a quick AM start. The one half annoyance is that I usually forget to dump the grounds out when I'm ready to go for a new brew, I have a little extra cleaning work to do. I've mainly used pre-ground coffee so far only because I want to use up what I have on hand before grin. I go for super sales or clearance buys so I can go fancy or non-fancy coffee. The folgers/maxwell house grinds actually produce less detritus than some of the better bagged stuff. Outside of the SS attribute, the small, but decent 1-person size price, the other plus is that this FP looks good in a contemporary way (so, giftable) and has a little heft to it even when it's empty for quality points. My clumsy self has banged it around some the finish is still remains intact. The insulated feature was a must for me as well since my (legitimately) ADHD self will get distracted coming back to cold coffee in an open mug highly aggravates me. Sure, I could top it off nuke it, but if I can avoid that, why not? I forgot about the pitcher for about a solid hour after my 1st mug pour today happened to have my digital thermometer nearby. Coffee was still decently hot at 143°F!
