Turns brown when cleaning

I have had this rug less than 3 months and it's already ruined. I had a small spill and tried to clean it up with soap and water and the rug turned brown. I teeter in another spot with a different cleaner and same thing. Do not buy this rug unless you expect to never clean it! Complete waste of my money. *Picture is NOT a stain. This is how the rug reacts to any cleaner or soap*
