Kerastase Chroma Absolu Hydrating Protective System Shampoo , 8.5 oz Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in my 60's and have thick mid length back hair and wash it 3 to 4 weeks. I have read the reviews and this is how I use it. Hair especially must be fully wet and I use a small amount rub it in my hands and then rub into my scalp. This shampoo does not initially lather well. I then apply another small amount to the rest of my hair as it is long. I then lightly rinse scalp and massage scalp again to achieve laver - it seems that this shampoo requires water to laver up well. I do the same with rest of my hair. Once this is done I then apply a 10p coins worth of shampoo all over and massage it in, a little more water may be necessary. I then leave it a couple of minutes before fully rinsing it out. Because of this process I only wash once. The shampoo is very concentrated and less is best in stages rather than a big blob. Make sure that the shampoo is fully rinsed out lifting the hair away from the scalp. I then either apply the chroma mask or the conditioner along with the chroma lactic acid rinse (which is amazing). I was my hair in the shower as have good water pressure. If the shampoo is not washed out well the hair, especially on and around the scalp area then the hair will be sticky and lifeless. I sometimes mix water with the shampoo to dilute it before application and rub between hands. Excellent results can be achieved but knowing what works best for your hair and scalp is essential. A bottle last me 6 months using it this way. I hope that this explaination has been useful. I do live in Wales UK and we do have good water!
