Encourages spine help

I am definitely in favor of the upright walker. Encourages you to walk with your spine straighter rather than bending over. My physical trainer encourages me to use this one instead of the low walker. Very easy to assemble. I use the brakes a little bit on hard surfaces, but very stable on carpet.

Just what we needed!

This is great for my Dad, who's over 6' tall and was having increasing posture issues with more traditional walkers. But he's been able to maneuver this walker quite well. Plus the red looks smart, and the seat and storage are quite handy. This walker was much easier to assemble than I expected. The one downside is it's still quite bulky even when collapsed, making it difficult to get in and out of a vehicle.

This walker promotes forward-facing walking as opposed to looking downward. It also has larger tires which goes smoother over sidewalks and even smaller gravel. I would warn shorter people that it may make your shoulders sore. I am about 5'5" and have had both shoulders replaced.. I wish I would have built-up because my shoulders got real sore and I had to discontinue use of it. I'm going to wait another week to allow my shoulders to recover and then I will start using it again.
