I recently purchased the Murphy bed kit and had a mixed experience. The directions were clear and easy to follow, and I really appreciated that there were video tutorials included—those made the process much easier to understand. However, there were several issues with the parts. Some of the pieces were not labeled, which made assembly more difficult than it should have been. Additionally, a few pieces did not have the correct holes drilled, so I had to create my own just to make things work. The biggest issue was with the desk legs—they did not fit properly at all. If I had tried to use them, it would have caused the bed to be pulled out incorrectly, so I wasn't able to use that feature. Overall, the concept is great and the instructions were helpful, but the quality control on the parts definitely needs improvement.
