Great economical alternative to a beautiful product. They are glass. it has to be stacked with care in safe places. like against your backsplash, not at the front edge of pantry shelves. I ordered two sets for snacks, flour/sugar, powdered sugar, rice etc... and have flour/sugar stacked against my backsplash by my mixer. Coffee and snacks on my refrigerator, one for crackers on my island, and 5-6 in my pantry stacked with rice, pasta, powdered sugar, etc. I set the bags with rice and powdered sugar inside the containers.
