I love Marabu Art Crayons. And I love this shade of turquoise. Turquoise is a mix of blue and green. This turquoise is on blue side of the color. I have found their Aqua-Green is also a turquoise but, on the more green side of turquoise. I love the various ways I can use these crayons. They can be put on paper and blended with other color. You can scribble color on a plastic palette and picked up with a damp paint brush to use like a pan watercolor. And, you can use the crayons on paper and go over them with that brush to create watercolor effects. Definitely fun and almost magical to work with. Fantastic for mixed Media as they can work so well with other art mediums.

Love these crayons

First review for art supplies I've ever written. I love these crayons. They are so smooth and a real joy to work with. The colors are strong and bright and work well with or without water. I've used them with other watercolor crayons that I own and these are my favorites due to the feel, the color, and the way the work so well with water.

Lovely

These are so buttery and lay down a good amount of pigment. I would put them up against gelatos any day. I may even use them in place of Caran d'Ache Neocolor II crayons. The only thing I'd do differently is apply a wet brush to the crayon for a smoother finish. Putting the crayon to the paper and then applying a wet brush left some residual stroke marks on the paper.
