Pot holders way too thin

The design and material was exactly what I wanted but they were very thin. I had to use multiple pot holders at once just to take a pan out of the oven because I could feel the heat coming through. A pot holder is meant to be able to handle hot items.

Very small and thin potholders. They are ok for the price, but not great. These are pretty much disposable once they get dirty since I am doubtful they will hold up in the wash. I prefer a thicker (safer) potholder that is washable. Would not recommend or purchase again. I was underwhelmed.

Ordered 4 square potholders for $6.95 on Aug 11. Will be keeping so 2 stars for that. BUT, per tracking, 4 week days after purchase (Monday to Friday, it was initially sent out from St George, Utah TO SHENZHEN, CHINA. WHAT? From there, it had to travel back, through customs, back to LA, Ca seaport, then to Seattle, Washington, where the package shipping label (pastd over the China shipping label) says it was shipped from. It took over a month to get to Ohio. Through CHINA ???? WHY, just WHY? Freight shipping for pot holders? Would NEVER have purchased these had I known this detail. Now you know too. They should be a store stocked/ fulfilled item. This was crazy wasteful spending on shipping which ultimately, the consumer will pay for in some way, shape or form. Maybe not now but, did the seller really make money on this? Back to Amazon shopping , I guess. At least they support small businesses with a selling/shipping platform and have their logistics figured out.
