The material is fine, but it's *not* soft to the touch, so if that is important to you, I would recommend getting a different hoodie. I, however, like this enough to have bought a second one in another color. :)

    Great quality, but runs significantly small

    ​I have been a loyal Hanes customer for a long time and always appreciate the quality of their fabric. However, the sizing on this sweatshirt is not true to size. I ordered a 2X for my son (who usually wears an XL) to account for potential shrinkage, but it was too small for him right out of the box. Even though we only wash in cold water, Hanes products have been running smaller lately. If you are between sizes or prefer a relaxed fit, I highly recommend ordering at least two sizes up.
