This has been a very nice unit. Small, but gets the job done. We've used it all summer and so far, so good. My electric bill hasn't really gone up either. I put it on the back porch so that Max, my dog, can stay cool in this Texas heat. We both love it. And my porch is not like, totally air tight. So I was shocked that my bill really didn't go up.

Works great. I was surprised at how great. It does kick off by itself at the temp you set it for . Which was important for me.Typical mount process. It has a second air filter space that you can buy an air filter separately to help purify the air as it works to cool it.I wrote this review cause I wanted to help people decide on a product I think is great, cause Walmart sucks most of the time with their automated reviews.

Easy to install. I did not use the insulation or set it in with screws. I just attached the rails and side screens. Placed it in the right place and shut the window so it fell in between the rails. I got the 6,000 one for a small bedroom. It works great. Easy to use, the remote is great. Good purchase for the price.
