Not Ready for Primetime

Cons 1) No game code included out of the box. Apparently it should arrive by email within 30 days, but who knows. 2) Buggy drivers. Display driver keeps crashing on a Windows 10 machine. No stress on the card -- it crashes on idle, and I just come back to a blank screen. Clean install, no excuses. I'm sure Nvidia will fix it, but it's pretty lame given the prices of these cards. Seems like you're paying more at launch just to be a beta tester. 3) Coil whine when playing videos. And despite a dozen people re-assuring you all video cards have some coil whine, it doesn't make it any less annoying. The coil whine comes and goes. Pros 1) Card is quiet. Jaw dropping silent. Like I'm not sure I'll ever buy another EVGA card again, silent. 2) Don't care much for RGB, but it really does look neat. It's not your typical monotone RGB. Other Thoughts I'm coming from a EVGA GTX 1080 Gaming card. No game code included, -1. Buggy drivers, -1. Coil whine, -1. Lame MSI support, -1. I could keep docking points, but overall it's not a a bad card -- it's just not ready for primetime is all.

No code, Bad Service, decent card

No game code - have been on with Wal-Mart, Nvidia, and MSI support and they cant seem to figure out who's responsibility it is. Personally it's not worth the hassle and easier to price match it and buy from newegg. The card works great, got a decent over clock on it of about 2050mhz, and the RGB is cool, but it's not really that important to me. Some customization options are available. Limited color range though. Temps range but average of 60 with a modest fan curve. *Dont use MSI afterburner as it has no RTX support. * the best success I've had is with EVGAS precision X1, that works with MSI cards. The support bar inside is pretty flimsy and isn't really supporting the card much. This card is BEEFY. I'm not joking. Probably the biggest card I've had thus far. I had a GTX 970 previously with the same cooling fan system, and it's only 1/2 as thick. Decent product, but combined with delayed shipping, no code, and on average terrible customer service, Walmart gets a 2/5
