I purchased 2 one with black hearts and the other tan hearts for granddaughter .I These colors will go with practically every outfit .. The material is a cable knit sweater , Has wide shoulders straps, sewn very well on the inside, so you do t see the stitching. The bag itself has a flat slim profile, but it stretches easily.,and lays flat again when you remove everything. Can hold a normal size beach towel , pair of flip flops and suntan lotion with bottle of water. you can use for the pool , beach ,hanging out with girl friends , going out to lunch or running errands. women , tweens and teenagers could easily use this bag . Holds her tablet and cellphone and water thermos bottle no problem . She can also use it for a purse for school so her backpack isn't as full. No it doesn't have a zipper or a button for closure
