Hummmm

These are classified as cruciferous which in my opinion means the consumer HAS to do something to make them taste better...butter , garlic , spices , cheese. These are good quality... A bit overpriced . Also what the pkg says is the serving amount is a crock Yeah if a serving is 1 tablespoon .

Unsung side dish hero. My try!

I've been feeling tired and sluggish. I also very tired of taking vitamins so I decided to treat myself to caramelized Brussels sprouts cooked with apple smoked bacon. Not only am I getting the vitamins and fiber I need but I'm also eating a delicious side dish / meal. If you've never tried them it's a must try. Cook them on a fidget day. Preheat your oven to 350°. Using a glass 13x9 baking dish Line the bottom of the pan with thin slices of bacon staggered Thin slices of 1 sweet onion and finely minced fresh garlic. Top that off with 2 or 3 bags of Birdseye steam-fresh Brussels sprouts. ( take them out of the package lol ) drizzle with liquid coconut or avocado oil. Season to taste with salt, black pepper, garlic and onion powder ( not salt ) cook covered for 45 minutes uncover. The bacon should render grease stir the sprouts around until they are well coated. Cook uncovered until they are golden/ caramelized. Serve as a side to steak, chicken, fish or on their own. If you try this and like it come back to give me a thumbs up.

Great Brussels sprouts

I switched to this brand after having Great Value Brussels sprouts. They were water logged and mushy with less taste. Bird's Eye sprouts are more intact and less watery and taste much better. It is a smaller bag for more money. But the taste and texture are worth it
