Safavieh Kilim Issam Striped Wool Area Rug, Rust, 9' x 12'

I have purchased several of these in the past for our retail stores. They look great, clean easy and stand up well to high traffic.

This rug's pattern and colors perfectly coordinate to our furniture on a gray LVP floor; hence our purchasing it. It feels good and it looks good (and is atop a basic underlayment to keep it from shifting). HOWEVER, it sheds - really badly - the gray wool-ish fibers wherever any one is seated and the feet stay in place. Little balls and rolls of the fiber appear atop the rug. I am sure those areas will eventually wear down. We think we have to return it. We have had quite a few Savafiah rugs over the years and have never had a problem like this with any of them! In pictures below The large area is how nice it looks with our furniture and flooring BUT second one shows awful shedding we have to clear off daily
