This rug is beautiful and soft. I didn’t realize it was washable, so tried to vacuum it which you can’t do. Not an issue, just be aware. You’ll meed to use a handheld vacuum to get up stuff off it when you’re not washing it. I haven’t washed it yet, so can’t speak to how it is after washing. It is thin, so I’m considering getting a pad, but not required. The edges laid flat nicely and creases subsided after being out of the box for a short time. I really like this rug in my space.
