I purchased the regular papasan chair previously and love i. When I found that I was in need of an extra sleeping space in my loft, I looked up this double chair version and I found it was even on sale and had a great price - what a bonus! It's perfect for the space and I love it! I'm a female with a medium frame and was able to assemble it by myself - you just need to have enough room and don't tighten all the screws until you have the pieces put together loosely. My only complaint is that due to the cushion needing to ship folded in half, there is an area on the edge where the cushion isn't filled out properly, leaving a bit of an empty space. I'm having trouble manipulating the cushion back where it belongs - but I'll get there. Highly recommend!!

GREAT PAPASAN

I have only one complaint and its easily fixed. The frame from the underside is able to be felt. That happened with mine after quite a few uses. I've tried fluffing the cushion but that doesn't work. I'll try to figure out something. Other than that I absolutely love my Papasan large size chair/sofa. I can curl up in it and read a good book or just whatever. I love the material used also. I can tell its going to hold up very well. My 3 cats approve also. Frame is metal as you have probably read, which is going to hold up well, very sturdy. All in all, you can't beat Better Home %26 Gardens.

The thing is.. whether you're assembling solo or as a team, unless you're both body-builders, you're going to need clamps. There's barely any way to avoid it. With the addition of these un included tools, assembly took less than 30 minutesā€¦ without them, no. Just no.
