This is a small handheld suitable for a car or around the house. I bought it as a toy for my grandson who likes things like leaf blowers and such. For a handheld vacuum I'd give it 3 stars, it's decent and good for very small jobs. Has ok suction but not super strong. The dirt catcher holds about 1/2 a cup of dust and small objects like paper punches and bits of paper. Quite good for sucking up kinetic sand. As a toy for grandson I'd give it 5 Stars! The suction does enough to make him very happy with what end up in dirt catcher and will also snag socks and small stuffies he can pull off with delight!
