The vacuum easily converts into a hand held Dustbuster. The cord is long enough to clean my entire living room. I would not recommend this for homes with thick wall-to-wall carpet. Great for 2 year old to help!

Love this vacuum! I bought it for my toddler (almost 2) to use because she loves her toy vacuum and I thought it would be great to have her help me clean up a little while "playing". It's the PERFECT size for her in the configuration meant for stairs! Only drawback I have is that it's VERY loud. But for the price, totally worth it. I'm also pregnant and appreciate how lightweight this is (and obviously great weight for my toddler) and have been reaching for it more often than my $300 vacuum. Recommend, especially for littles who like to help as long as they're okay with loud sounds!
