great little processor. has 2 speeds . easy to clean. features i love are the bowl had a notch that fits into groove very very easily (shown in pic). no trying to screw into place and luck lid etc . for me with arthritis this is great! i suppose if you had small children you might want that safety feature if left out all the time. you operate it simply by pushing down lightly on the lid. the lid has a small hole in it to add oil or liquid as you work. i bought this specifically to use up all my cans of gabonzo beans (chick peas) to make hummus and the pinto and black beans to make refried beans. i did 4 batches of hummus in a row and the processor never got hot, only slightly warm. easily pureed the peas and it came out very smooth in very little time. course it is your option how smooth or chunky by how much time you use. i highly recommend this for yourself and makes a great wedding gift. compact so takes up little room and not big bulky heavy if doing a smaller job. in the Pic there is 1 can of chick peas. so plenty of room for this or onions, garlic and ginger, salsa, baby food, on and on. great price.
