Ubiquitous in nature, it can be used for a wide variety of use cases, such as storing keys for VPN access and encryption keys for hard disks, or preventing dictionary attacks to retrieve private keys. Seller sent a defective item that doesn't match the product description. Not a TPM 2.p. The system measures it as a TPM 1.2 device.

Hello Joshua! We are sorry to hear this. There may be a misunderstanding here, the product information we provided is accurate. The device tree shows SLB9670, which is a TPM 2.0 chip, but the kernel driver tpm_tis_spi identifies it as a TPM 1.2. It's probably a problem with the system kernel. If you encounter any technical problems while using the product, please feel free to contact us and we will provide technical support.
