If you are a student, or just new to Arduino programming, this is a great assortment of sensors. It gives you a good feel for the type of sensors available and you can easily test them with your program. It appears to be made for easy breadboarding so they can easily verify the performance of your program. There's a link to information that can help you determine the pinouts and operation.

Good kit!

Seems like a good set. Perfect for kids who are into ardurino and want to create new projects. It doesn’t come with instructions so you will have to look up how to use each part but other than that it seems great.

Not the best value and several duplicate modules.

This kit is an OK value, but there are better kits for the money out there. The reason I say this is that this kit mostly contains your very basic modules. Other kits in the same price range include a sonic sensor, touch pad and other more advanced components. This kit is pretty basic and has duplicates of a few items. There are 2 K49E hall sensors plus a 3144 hall sensor. There are 2 digital temp sensors plus an 18B20 and the DHT11 temp and humidity sensor. There are 2 reed switches. There are 5 LEDs, 2 two color, 2 RGB LEDs (one is SMD) and a 7 color flashing LED. Most of the items, for example LEDs, reed switches, buzzers, temp sensor, photoresistor, switch and so on, do not need a module. For instance, take an LED, it would be much easier to work with without a module. So would a push button, reed switch, photoresistor and so on. A module actually complicates things, especially when there are no pinouts included! The biggest problem I found with the kit is there is no pinouts for any of the modules. You will be forced to google and hope you find the correct diagram for the modules. Fortunately I did find that they have some tutorials and pinouts available to download. I also later found a link on a sticker on the bottom of the case. The link for Arduino is: https://mega.nz/folder/TYEgAIAB%23tYX5cBoPuzW9CaN0aUx31Q The link for Raspberry Pi is : https://mega.nz/folder/zEVVDaRL%23B3ter7RRFDJlqynquKX8Uw The downloads are not very well organized, but they seem to contain most all of the information you should need to connect everything. They also contain some tutorials. Again, other brands do a better job of including manuals and links to downloads. I was probably being generous giving this a 4 star instead of a 3, but I did know what I was getting. For a starter kit this is OK but keep in mind there are better alternatives in the same price range. I have tons of sensors and electronic components. I mainly bought this as a small assortment for a rarely used bedroom laptop. My advice is this kit is OK if you want a few sensors and don't mind doing some searching for pinouts and code. If I were you I would buy a resistor assortment, capacitor assortment, LED assortment, a diode assortment, an IC assortment including the 7400 and 4000 series, a transistor assortment and some voltage regulators. You can probably find a good assortment including all of that so you don't need to buy it all separately. I don't use a lot of modules, unless it is something like for WIFI or a display. For basics I much prefer the plain old LED, reed switch, photoresistor or whatever. It is so much simpler that way. Again, I knew what this kit was, so I am not taking anything off for that. I gave it 4 stars instead of three because I was able to find the pinouts and tutorials for the kit, even though they leave much to be desired in terms of organization. It is not the best value, but again, that is my own fault. I would probably not pay full price for this kit.
