The soft icey nuggets are like Sonic ice, makes drinks perfectly cold! And I love to munch on the soft pieces! It’s not a loud ice maker. Only hums and makes a little noise when the nuggets fall into the bin. I recommend this ice maker!!

Great nugget icemaker!
This ice maker is amazing! I have the countertop bullet ice maker, but wanted a better chewy ice. I did follow the recommendation of letting it settle at least 12 hours before filling it with 40oz of filtered drinking water and plugging it in. The ice basket is not refrigerated and the ice will melt, however, the vent at the bottom makes it easier for the water to drain back into the water tank. Overall, great product for indoor use!

I love the ice that comes from this machine - it is "the good ice" that is chewable. I use the machine about every other day, and I keep the extra ice in the fridge in water. Cleaning is very easy, and I make sure the machine stays dry and clean when not in use. The noise coming from the machine is not too bad either. The price was so much more affordable and I hope it continues to work well with proper maintenance.
