Bought these to complete a set of 8 for my son %26 daughter in law for their new home. The color is great. More of a medium taupe brown. Durable. They have not shown signs of knife scratches like light colors do. A great buy for the price. They arrived timely as promised in perfect condition.

Beautiful Gray-ish Brown

This brown stoneware set looks so pretty, and feels nice in hand. It's quite the welcomed change from my previous white dinnerware. My husband prefers a slightly bigger bowl, though. And I hope we won't be messier after years of dinning on plates with a tall lip. I also purchased the matching large dinner/pasta bowls, which are sold separately. My only concern is Walmart has been selling this set for a couple years, and they no longer seem to have replacement plates available, like with other current popular sets, so I'm on the lookout for additional dinner plates whenever I'm in a store.
