[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive owned mine for quite a while now and I will say its been holding up very well and was definetly a good long term storage solution for my pc. Its also been pretty efficient overall and I havent really had any latency problems when it comes to uploading and downloading. The thermals have also been very solid for the ssd though id say it does get a little warm when stressing it. And throughput has been the best part because my previous setup was hard drives so this NVMe ssd has overall been a very good investment. :)

This particular drive stands out as the finest Samsung product I have ever acquired. I have experienced no issues whatsoever regarding latency or any other performance concerns. Furthermore, utilizing Samsung's data migration software proved to be incredibly straightforward in transferring all my data from my previous drives. As someone who also owns the 990 Evo and the 980 Pro 2 terabyte models, both of which are reliable, the 990 truly offers exceptional performance. While it runs approximately 2 degrees cooler than the 980 Pro, which is still a positive aspect, its consistency is truly remarkable. I can confidently state that this drive exhibits no consistency problems; every time I use it, I encounter no issues with game downloads, crashes, or any performance-related setbacks. Nothing seems to impede its speed. Overall, this is unequivocally the best drive I have ever utilized.
