This bacon grease came to my attention last fall (autumn 2025) when I was preparing (in advance) to make pie crusts for the holidays from scratch . I was actually shopping for lard. I didn't purchase it, I just bought a couple pounds of bacon %26 saved the grease for later use. I wAs again preparing pie crusts for the summer holidays %26 reunions and found myself in need of lard again. The price seemed a bit steep but I bought it this time %26 love it. it is nice to have ready to use bacon grease to throw into all kinds of food as I'm cooking it. will definitely continue to buy this product.

A little pricey...but worth it (if you can manage). This is a splurge for us in this economy...but its great for cooking, added flavor, seasoning cast iron, etc. This sized tub gets us ALMOST through a month when accompanied by a large bottle of olive for the month.
