Almost perfect

First off, I'm gonna tell you that you will have a little heel slip in these when you first get them but it'll go away. You will also have a tough time trying to get the right tension on the laces. You're going to be tempted to tie them really tight to eliminate the heel slippage but this is going to be really painful on the top of your foot. Just tie them so they're comfortable and deal with a little heel slippage for a week or two, it'll go away. I've been wearing these for 2, maybe 3 weeks now and they're finally broke in enough to be comfortable. The boots finally have some wear points or creases where your foot flexes so the leather has relaxed enough and my heel no longer slips........not even a little. I can now just tie these normally and not worry about foot pain from the laces being too tight or heel slippage. I was really impressed with the quality of these, the leather is really thick and the stitching is nice and thick too! These are by far some of the most comfortable boots I've owned, in fact, if they weren't so comfortable, I might of sent them back because of the heel slippage. I figured they would either break in and be awesome or the heels would continue to slip and I'd have buyers remorse. I'm glad I kept them, they broke in nicely. Within a 2 weeks time period, I've tried timberland pro, Danner and these Georgia boots on an oily slick surface. I work part time as a line cook and the floors can be terrible at times. The anti-slip soles on these were by far the best out of the 3 brands I tried. I work full time at an auto parts store so I wanted something comfortable, durable and waterproof. I think these will last for a good long time. They also look nice enough to wear to church or outing's as well. I can't attest to the water proofing but I did also apply a couple layers of sno-seal so they should be good. The only con I can honestly say about these boots at this point is that they don't breathe the best. Overall, at this point, I think I would probably buy these again depending on how they hold up.
