They are a bit hard to vacuum, but for the price I'm not complaining. They also will stain very easy, (I think due to the velvety material) which I do not like. They say machine washable, however they are too big to throw in the washer and I do not have a good experience with this. They aren't too bad to use a rug washer on, though. Overall, I am very satisfied and happy with my purchase. As a side note, my 11 year old son loves to lay on the floor due to the softness of the carpet.
