This bike is great because it's still like a mountain bike, you can ride it without the battery. So it's still great to get exercise and you can also use it to assist, or you can use it if you want to commute. Just the commute wouldn't be far I think this is just more of a pedal assist bike, it's very lightweight so it can still easily be used without the battery power.
