Excellent for sanitary cuts on our cats.

We bought these to use on our cats. We were worried about the noise level and how well they could be used efficiently on our overweight cat's hind quarters. We have used twice (once on each cat) and both times went unbelievably well. The noise didn't bother them and the grooming went quickly. This device will save us having to take them to the vet for sanitary cuts, will save us the cost of sanitary grooming and will enable us to care for the animals as soon as they need to be trimmed. Unless there is a change, we feel comfortable confirming that these are small but powerful cutters that allowed for precision cuts on multiple cats.

It worked great on my cat, who has longer hair. He is diabetic %26 has insulin injections twice daily. I shaved an area at the scruff of the neck to make it easy to give the injections. He doesn't mind the shaver at all %26 it is much quieter than the one we had been using.

These clippers are extremely quiet compared to the other pet grooming clippers on the market and work well on very soft, fluffy fur. The simple guard works okay, but you will have to take a couple moments to ensure the fluffy fur build up is removed from the guard and blades. Very quick and simple. My very skiddish dog, that has very fluffy cat-like hair relaxed and let me trim all the mats and tangles out of his fur. I definitely recommend.
