Good Mineral Based SPF

There are 2 basic groups for Sun Screens: Mineral and Chemical. It's a personal choice depending on what you need. I chose this, mineral based (zinc) option. I tried several samples from my dermotologist's office. The ultra smooth tinted cremes were around $87 for 3oz. For something that should be used often in Summer - that's out of my budget. This cream felt a little 'heavy' when first applied, so I didn't think that I'd like it, but after about 3 minutes, it felt much lighter. I don't know if it's because the warmth of the body thins it, or what - but it felt a LOT nicer. Now for the trick. Squeeze some into the palm of your hand and add your favorite, tinted, liquid makeup. Stir them together until blended and voila! you have a custom-made, creamy SPF that can be applied in 1 step and is water repellant too. Your makeup will stay put while swimming.
