I already owned a very similar if not exact match for this step. I used it to get into bed more easily. I bought this one, because my new bed is higher. Now I'm using both steps - one at 6" and the other at 10". The 2" step risers are interchangeable, so it works. My only complaint is the surface tread cover started peeling up on the first one after a few months. This seems to be a common issue and is fixable with glue. I'm very happy with my steps. They solved my problem.
