This knife is a quality knife. There are tons of good knives but I see no need to pay a lot of money for a knife that I use maybe twice a month. This knife is sharp and stays sharp a long time. The handle feels good. If you feel you need a high priced knife to impress your friends , go for it. But this knife cuts cleanly and does a great job. It is just what I wanted.
