The bed is cheaply made. The instructions are super generic and need to be more specific. Especially with the plastic clear pieces and also the trundle assembly instructions need to be more detailed. I was able to assemble myself but would've been faster with clearer more detailed assembly instructions. It serves it's purpose for a college dorm bed and allows for a friend or family member to visit at times. Price is high for what it is. It's not made to last a long time. Fun for college kid. Definitely not strong enough to have little kids jumping on the bed. At least an older/college kid knows to be careful so it doesn't break.
