I'm getting ready to move and my coffee pot is packed away. so this was a good buy. i always had trouble with my filter so i bought one thats permanent . i really like how easy it is to use . The price was a good price. I'd buy one for Christmas . I questioned the brand but we'll see

After years of coffee pods and making individual cups of coffee at a time, I've moved back to the good old drip coffee maker and this one meets all the requirements. It has a removable filter basket so I can throw it in the dishwasher to eliminate the buildup from the grounds. It has the digital clock with a timer both to auto start in the morning and to auto shut-off after 2 hours. It will also auto pause the drip long enough for you to sneak a cup before the brew is complete. The carafe (pot) is light weight and has a pour spout for less mess. There's a “bold” button that lets the coffee steep a little longer. The only thing I'm not fond of is when lifting the top to pour in fresh water the arm that brings the water up and over the grounds is right in the middle of where I'm trying to pour. I've trained myself to pour on the side not center, so this isn't a deal breaker at all. With the price of coffee pods and the makers required to use them purchasing a pound of coffee and filters for this drip machine has lowered my coffee costs.
